2. Summary

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and embeds no third-party services. Fonts and images are stored on our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external provider. We only process personal data when you visit the website (technical access data) or contact us.

3. Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.

When you visit the website, the server automatically stores access data in log files: IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser and operating system. This data is required for the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The log files are not combined with other data and are deleted automatically after a short period.

4. Notice on your first visit

On your first visit we point out that this website uses no cookies. When you confirm the notice with OK, your browser stores the entry “jb-hinweis-ok” in its local storage so that the notice does not appear again. The entry contains no personal data, is not transmitted to us and remains until you delete it in your browser. Storing it is strictly necessary for this function you requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).

5. Contact form, email and telephone

If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by telephone, we process your details (name, email address, your message and, where applicable, telephone number) in order to handle your enquiry. The details from the form are sent to us by email and are not stored in a database.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the data once your enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Links to LinkedIn

This website contains a plain link to our LinkedIn profile. No plugin is embedded; data is only transferred once you click the link and open the LinkedIn website. The privacy policy of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company applies there.

7. Encryption

The website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS). Data you send via the contact form therefore cannot be read by third parties.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). An informal message to the address above is sufficient.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate, Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz, Germany.
